After returning home from the wedding weekend, Annie and I unpacked, re-packed, and headed out to Miami International Airport to catch a plane to Croatia, to begin our honeymoon. Many of you asked why we chose Croatia, and we hope the photos below will explain.
We flew from Miami to Frankfurt, Germany and then took a flight on Croatia Air, to the city of Split. We spent two days in Split before taking a high speed catamaran to the island of Hvar. After spending 2 days on the island, we spent our last day in Stari Grad, where we met some locals who took us around and showed us some great parts of the island. The next day we took an all day ferry ride down the coast towards Dubrovnik, making a quick pitstop on the island of Korcula.
Once we arrived in Dubrovnik, we spent 3 nights outside of the downtown area on the Lapad Peninsula. We took a day trip to the island of Lokrum and then spent the final 3 nights in a 5 star hotel within walking distance of the city walls. Truly an amazing trip.
