Not from Beaufort? No one at this wedding is, so you aren't alone.
If your flights are already booked, all you need now are driving directions.
There are two airports almost the same distance from Beaufort. You can either fly into Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport or Charleston International Airport and then rent a car. Savannah is a bit closer at an hour ride, while Charleston is about an hour and a half.
For those of you arriving from Long Island, we have another option for you. There are only a limited number of airlines flying out of Islip Macarthur Airport and Southwest is one of them. The problem is that Southwest doesn't fly into South Carolina. They do however fly into Jacksonville, Fl which is just under a 3 hour drive. So if you don't mind the longer drive, you can get a flight from eastern LI to Jacksonville and avoid JFK and LaGuardia.
Our Fort Lauderdale friends should also consider using Southwest, as it is a 45 minutes direct flight into Jacksonville. On other airlines, you have to fly to Atlanta and then catch a flight to Savannah.
