Welcome to our Online Wedding Journal!!!!
We have some good news to announce. It turns out that Annie is not nearly as smart as I feared she might be. On June 15th she officially accepted my proposal of marriage and we are now planning a wedding on June 10, 2006, in Beaufort, South Carolina.
For all of you who will be attending our big event, this journal will contain all of the information you could ever want to know about us and the big day.
We have decided to exchange our vows on Dataw Island, South Carolina (an island off of Beaufort) at a beautiful Country Club. South Carolina? How does a Long Island Jew and a Moose Lovin' New Hampshirite decide to get married in South Carolina you ask? The original plan was to get married in New Hampshire and we did our best to find a suitable place, but after spending weeks searching and calling places, we couldn't find the perfect place. Everything had a "BUT". On our last weekend of exploring possible locations in the New England area and after driving 750 miles in 2 1/2 days, we saw the light. New England was exhausted....and so were we!!! At that point we were reminded about the possibility of holding the wedding at Annie's folks' place in South Carolina.
If you have never been to Beaufort, South Carolina you probably don't know that its the perfect location for an extended vacation. Let us show you a few reasons to not only come to the wedding, but to come a few days early and stay a few days late to experience the town.
