Since you are going to need a place to stay, we thought we would make some recommendations.
After doing quite a bit of research, we have found two hotels to recommend and for those of you who would like something a little different, we have found three Bed & Breakfast's that have available rooms. The B&B's are not willing to give us a break, but the hotels are reserving some rooms for us, so be sure to mention that you are with the Sznitken/Kupper wedding.

The first hotel is the Country Inn & Suites, located a short 5 minute drive from downtown. The rooms are decorated in warm "country" style decor, come with high speed internet access and a complimentary breakfast. The room rates are $89 a night and they have doubles, queens and king sized beds.
Once again, it is better to book your reservation over the phone so you can tell them that you are with the wedding, but you can view their website here.

The second hotel is the Best Western Sea Island Inn, which is located across the street from the water in the Beaufort Historic District. This hotel is right down the street from the bridge that leads to Dataw Island. The rate is $125 for a queen and $135 for a king and includes breakfast.

B & B's (Bed & Breakfast's)
When we last checked, there were two Inns that still had rooms available for the wedding weekend. If you book early, you could potentially take the entire inn. As is customary with all B & B's, breakfast is included in the price.
North Street Inn

The North Street Inn is a newly renovated Queen Anne Victorian home, located in the Historic District and normally has 3 rooms to rent, but if you take the entire house their is a fourth room available. They don't always rent the last room since it shares a bathroom with one of the other rooms. The rate for each room is $110 per night double occupancy.
The Old Point Inn

The Old Point Inn has five rooms available, ranging from $95-$150 and is the only Inn on the historic Point with views of the Beaufort River. For the computer geeks in the crowd, they also have wireless internet access. Unfortunately, this Inn will not accept any children as they have a lot of glass and other fragile items placed throughout the house.
